VIKA ARTIYUKHINA (Vladivostok, Russian Federation)
Vika and Denis served on the church staff together in Vladivostok until one day in November, 2017, Vika suddenly fell to the floor while setting up for a preteen event. She was in a coma for several weeks and to this day remains in a somewhat vegetative state, cared for around the clock by Denis, his mother, and staff at various medical and rehabilitation facilities. Denis sends regular updates about Vika's condition and prayer requests on social media to a group of Vika's prayer warriors which we regularly repost and update on the website Caring Bridge, where you can read more about their family and history of Vika's illness.
